CGPA GLOBAL CANADA COURSE SYLLABUS

​The CTP/CPFA and CGPA course syllabus is comprised of 3 levels and 10 exams, which include one capstone case to complete the examination.

CTP/CPFA AND CGPA PQ ADMISSION PREREQUISITES

To be admitted into a CGPA's professional qualification course, applicants require:

 

• an undergraduate degree or master’s degree or Canadian equivalent of education from a post-secondary institution

​

• completion of all prerequisite course syllabus and requirements

​

• 120 credit-hours or equivalent of post-secondary education (30 credit hours per academic year)

​

• 65% overall GPA on course prerequisites

​

• at least one applicable course in each of the CGPA competency areas of Financial Reporting, Governance and Risk Management, Management Accounting, Audit and Assurance, Public Finance, Taxation and Law must have been completed within the last 10 years of application for admission  to  the  PQ program

• good character

Upon completion of these levels and submitting the CGPA Portfolio, trainees will gain the globally recognized CTP/CPFA and CGPA designation with professional qualification certification, full membership of CGPA and will be recognized as a Chartered Tax Practitioner (CTP), Certified Public Finance Accountant (CPFA), Chartered Global Practising Accountant (CGPA) where ever you are in the world as a multi-skilled public finance and tax professional, for both the public and corporate sectors.
