How to Get Your Credentials Recognized

Eligibility

IFAC members in good standing, without an RMA, MRA, or MOU with CPA Canada, are admitted directly to the CGPA membership program

No prerequisite courses are required

IFAC members with more than five years of professional experience can skip the additional module and become CGPA members through the IFAC pathways option

Cross-Credit Admission
The Institute of Chartered Global Practising Accountants of Canada recognizes ten overseas professional accounting bodies. Members in good standing may be admitted at the equivalent level held in their home accounting body. Evidence of plans to reside and work in Canada or internationally is usually required.
